Dom Howard is a multi-award-winning composer, producer, and mix engineer known for distinctively textured, emotionally rich compositions, whose career spans underground electronic music, global brand campaigns, and major media projects. Known in the electronic world as Ruckspin, and previously a founding member of Submotion Orchestra and one half of the dubstep duo Author, Dom has spent the last decade crafting bespoke compositions and sound design for corporate and global brands, securing syncs with clients such as Apple, Adidas, Netflix, YouTube, and Heineken. He also composes and scores for TV, film, and wider media, while continuing to mix for a variety of established and upcoming artists.
Now based in Edinburgh, he works from a newly built professional studio equipped for both stereo and Dolby Atmos, allowing him to deliver immersive or traditional composition, sound design, and mix work across commercial, media, and artist projects, bringing creative flair and technical precision to every project.
